THE D8N PLATFORM

Eight layers. Every brand on top.

One capability, one owner. Brands configure what they need and never rebuild identity, chat, payments or safety. Each layer below has its own page with the modules it holds.

LAYER BY LAYER

What each layer owns

A capability lives in exactly one layer. That is what makes a brand's difference configuration rather than a fork.

QUESTIONS

Straight answers

Ask us anything the layers don’t answer — including whether D8N is the wrong fit for what you are building.

What does a layer mean on D8N?

A layer groups capabilities that share an owner and a reason to change together. Core is the shared foundation, Trust is verification and enforcement, Connection is discovery through chat, Commerce is payments and entitlements, Intelligence is shared AI and analytics, Policy turns brand differences into configuration, Control is the operator surface, and Brand & Launch provisions a new brand.

Do I have to take the whole platform?

No. Some customers white-label everything; others take identity verification and scam protection through the API and keep their own product. The layers are separable by design.

Why does one capability have one owner?

Because two implementations of the same rule drift, and when the rule is who may message whom or whether a member is verified, drift is a safety incident rather than a bug. One owner per capability is what lets several brands share a platform without sharing each other's mistakes.
